Q. Can we change the payment dates?
A. Yes. Please talk to your Tour Organiser to discuss suitable dates.

Q. Can you provide a VAT invoice?
A. No. There is no VAT in the prices that we charge.We operate within a scheme called the Tour Operators’ Margin Scheme which means that there is no need for you to pay VAT and then reclaim it. TOMS enables us to do that work for you!

Q. Does the price include visits?
A. Visits are included where stated. Please discuss with your Tour Organiser if you wish extra visits.

Q. Does the price include a rep or a courier?
A. No, except India, China, and Ski trips.

Q. Do you offer travel insurance?
A. If you are not covered we are able to offer you a fully comprehensive travel insurance package.

Q. What happens if another company offers me a cheaper price?
A. On initial examination some quotations may appear to be cheaper, but when our total package is taken into account we are confident that we will provide you with a competitively priced, value-for-money, and professionally run trip. We are happy to compare quotations for you, and we will match any like-for-like quotation. In the event this happens we will endeavour to price match your quote.


Q. Is the itinerary flexible?
A. Yes. As long as it conforms to European driving regulations.

Q. What is the minimum size for a group?
A. 10.

Q. Do you recommend full or half board?
A. It is easier to keep track of costs when all your meals are included. However, half-board accommodation provides greater flexibility, particularly with older pupils.

Q. What standard of accommodation do you use?
A. From 2 or 3 star hotels to youth hotels and hostels. We will recommend accommodation to suit your needs and your budget.

Q. Can you help with special dietary requirements?
A. Yes. We will liaise with the accommodation and restaurants to make sure all special dietary requirements are catered for.

Q. Can you provide special needs facilities?
A. We are dedicated to providing a wonderful experience to all children, no matter what their needs. Please speak to your Tour Organiser about your requirements and we will endeavour to
accommodate them.


Q. Can we use the coach in the evenings, and whenever we like?
A. Use of the coach in the evenings is subject to European driving regulations. We can work with you to create an itinerary to make this possible. This may require an extra driver which would incur an extra charge.

Q. What happens if the coach breaks down?
A. Please contact our 24 hour helpline and we will do our utmost to get you moving again. All coach companies have contingency plans.

Q. Do all coaches have seat-belts?
A. Yes.


Q. What about safety?
A. Naturally we take our groups’ safety very seriously. All transport, accommodation and visits are audited to the requirements of the School Travel Forum (STF), of which we are an assured member. This should provide all the information that you or your local authority require. However, if you have further paperwork we are happy to help you complete it. You may find the School Travel Forum Guide ‘Demystifying Risk Assessments’ useful.

Q. Do you offer inspection visits?
A. Inspection visits play an important part in the risk assessment process and are encouraged by the DoE. We are happy to offer such visits to the Party Leader (or their nominated deputy) plus one other adult.

Q. What would I do if there were an emergency while I am away with my group?
A. We offer a 24 hour helpline, for your peace of mind. Our staff follow clear guidelines to ensure a fast and efficient response to your call.

Post Booking

Cancellation Charges

Q. What are your cancellation fees?
A. As we incur costs from the time we confirm your booking and may be unable to re-sell your holiday, the following cancellation charges will always be payable. Where the cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person(s) cancelling excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges. These cancellation charges are payable by you whether or not you have already paid a sufficient amount to us in deposits.

Q. What happens if my group numbers decrease?
A. Please let us know as soon as possible in writing and a cancellation charge may be applicable.

Q. What happens if my group numbers increase?
A. We would need to check with the accommodation and coach supplier before we can add any extras on to your booking.

Q. Can I bring extra adults, in excess of my free place ratio?
A. Yes. Extra adults will be charged at the same price as the paying passengers.

Q. Our breakdown of staff includes one male and one female. Will we be charged extra for single rooms?
A. No. Adults will be in a combination of twin and single rooms depending on numbers.

Q. What free place ratio do you offer?
A. Free places are offered on a 1:8 ratio (1:10 for bookings with flights).

Q. I am planning my tour more than a year in advance, will my price change?
A. Once you have paid your deposits and your booking has been confirmed, flight prices may increase. With quotations, your price is only valid until the expiry date shown.
