Blog Useful Words & Phrases – French, German & Italian

When on a ski trip you get the best of both worlds, trying out a new sport and getting to experience another country with a different culture and maybe even a different language.

We thought it might be handy to compile a small list of useful words and phrases in French, German and Italian.

For time in resort, visiting shops etc. we’ve listed the basic greetings.

For time on the mountain, you’ll find a few good to know phrases, things that probably hear from ski instructors or you may see a sign telling you a piste is closed!

TOP TIP: You may have to use these phrases yourself but make sure you know how they look and sound. A ski instructor might say them or you might see a sign telling you a piste is closed!
